Stir-Fried Potato Strips Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 green onion
- 2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil (optional)
Instructions
1. Clean and peel the potatoes, onion, and carrot. Cut the potatoes and carrot into thin strips, and thinly slice the onion.
2. Rinse the green onion thoroughly and then cut it into thin slices.
3. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pot or a pan over medium heat. Stir-fry the potato and carrot strips until they become tender, which takes about 5 minutes.
4. Add the sliced onion to the stir-fry and continue cooking until the onion becomes transparent and soft, around 3 minutes.
5. Once the vegetables are cooked, season with ½ teaspoon of salt and a pinch of black pepper. You can also add soy sauce and sesame oil to enhance the flavor.
6. Finally, add the sliced green onion to the stir-fry and mix well. Turn off the heat.
7. Transfer the stir-fried mixture onto a serving dish and enjoy it as a side dish or with rice.
